We schedule public cruises every weekend during the cruising season (Memorial Day into October). Join us for an afternoon on the water or board after dinner for a beautiful cruise into the sunset. Book a private charter
Get the boat all to yourself to celebrate a special occasion with up to 150 of your closest friends. Decorate as you wish and have it catered, hook up your music and throw a party! Great for graduations, weddings, company outings, birthdays, fundraisers, and anything else you can think of.
Public Cruise FAQs

The public cruise takes a beautiful trip through the Muskegon channel and weather permitted into Muskegon Lake. It gives an amazing new perspective of the lake.

Our Afternoon cruises are roughly 1 hour and 30 minutes, sunset cruises are typically 2 hours. Some of our specialty cruises may be longer. Cruise times may vary based on the schedule for the day and other factors, check the schedule on our booking page for the most updated information.

The on board bar serves a wide range of beverages both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. If you plan to purchase beer, wine or other alcoholic beverages, please bring a photo id and a credit or debit ca
There are also light snacks such as hot dogs and chips available for purchase.
Due to state regulations, we ask that you do not bring food or alcoholic beverages onboard. We only accept debit/credit cards on board.

We have public cruises available Thursday – Sunday. The schedule may change due to charter cruises or other events as well as sunset times as the seasons change. To get the most updated information on cruise times and dates, Click on Book a Cruise in the upper right corner of this page.

The Aquastar will sail rain or shine based on the Captain’s recommendation. We have a lower deck and a covered area on the upper deck. If the weather dictates that we must cancel the cruise we will refund or reschedule your cruise.
We do keep those booked on our cruises up to date via email if inclement weather is anticipated. Please be sure to include a valid email when booking your cruise.

We ask that you arrive 20-30 minutes prior to departure to board the Aquastar.
We do our best to leave the dock according to our schedule. We must check everyone in and we request that you arrive in a timely manner so everyone can enjoy their cruise.
To keep the process running smoothly, we ask that you leave large bags in your vehicle.

Unfortunately, no. Per state regulations we cannot allow outside beverages. The Aquastar has a full bar onboard and light snacks available for a reasonable cost. Bags may be searched, please leave large bags in your vehicle.

We’ve had many people with wheelchairs come aboard the Aquastar and enjoy our cruises.
It’s not a perfect situation for those in wheelchairs. Getting onto the boat is no problem and our main deck which is enclosed with booth seating and large windows is accessible. The upper deck has about 10 steps to gain access. Our bathrooms are not easily accessible. -
Yes, we do have restrooms onboard available for patrons use.

Every chance we get! We love our Lake Michigan shoreline as much as everyone else. Unfortunately, there are occasions where the captain reserves the right to not venture out to the “big lake” for navigation and/or safety reasons. We apologize in advance for this rare disappointment.

You will work with a senior member of our staff to book your charter cruise and finalize all details. You can get in touch with them by filling out a contact form on the contact page with all the info you have so far and we will go from there!

Just about anything you can do on the water! It’s a beautiful and intimate setting for wedding receptions, a great time for a bachelor or bachelorette party, an awesome experience for company outings, the perfect venue for a fundraiser, and so much more. If you’ve got an idea, just ask us!

There are a few factors that determine the price. The price is determined by duration, day of the week, time of year, attendance, food and drink, etc. Get in touch with us and we will gladly give you a quote.

You are more than welcome to to have your cruise catered. We have a great list of local caterers who have experience catering on the boat we would be happy to refer.
You have a few options with drinks on board, including drink tickets and a cash bar. Let’s talk about them and figure out the right fit for you.

It’s your charter, that’s up to you! (for the most part). Our standard cruise is 2.5 hours and goes through and out the Muskegon channel and, weather permitting onto Lake Michigan.
We can talk about different routes and times after you connect with someone on our team.

The Aquastar is rated for 150 passengers. Due to Covid we are currently restricting the number to 125.

We ask that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to departure. The boarding will begin 30 minutes prior to departure.
