Muskegon Lake Tradition
Departing from our downtown Muskegon dock at 12 noon.
Boarding begins at 11:30 am.
Join us for an afternoon out on the water to kick off the 2025 boating season! The Aquastar will lead the procession of local Muskegon pleasure craft, fishing boats, cruisers and speed boats through the Muskegon channel out towards Lake Michigan. Enjoy a spectacular view of the annual “Washing of the Lighthouse” as the sheriff’s department blasts the Muskegon South Pierhead Lighthouse with its water cannon! You will be in the center of it all aboard the Aquastar as the pleasure craft of Muskegon file past the while Reverend Robert Cook gives his blessing for a safe boating season to each vessel. We hope to see you out there!

⏰ Arrive Early –
Please plan to arrive 30 minutes before departure—we don’t want you to miss the boat (literally!)
Cancellations:
{Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled departure are fully refundable}
If it is raining — We Sail.
If it is severe inclement weather, we may not leave the dock or will return early to the dock, and either:
1) Continue event at the dock.
2) Decide on disembarking at that time. No refund due to abbreviated cruise because of inclement weather.
If the captain feels we need to cancel the cruise you will have the option of a refund or rebooking on another cruise.
